SPARK is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and skilled Communication Officer who is responsible for all communications concerning the Digital Workforce. The Communications Officer will be reporting to the country manager KR-I and the programme manager in SPARK’s head office in Amsterdam. Tasks include, but are not limited to, setting up the digital workforce with the programme coordinator, internal communications of the DW, social media, assistance in designing and implementing online campaigns and provide assistance to the training programme.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

Internal communication of DW

External communication of DW (including offline media)

Social media

Assist on designing and implementing campaigns of DW

Assist on training programme of DW

Monitoring and evaluation of communications, including DW campaigns

Other tasks as required.
Requirements and Skills

Educational background or relevant experience in communication (2 – 4 years minimum);

Knowledge and experience in communication and campaigning;

Tech savvy: knowledge about latest’s trends in IT and communication;

Proven working experience in KR-I in similar field of work;

Good communication and social skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting;

Team player, team builder;

Accurate, structured and precise;

Multitasking;

Flexible and responsible;

Fluent in Kurdish and English is necessary;

Fluent in Arabic is an advantage;

Knowledge of EU or Dutch project reporting is an advantage;

Iraq/KRD nationality or in possession of work permit.
SPARK Offers

Remuneration according to relevant work experience between 1200 – 1600 USD gross per month;

Full-time contract for 7 months, with possibility of extension.
