KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Supports and promotes BE goals, through message development, creation of social media content and media outreach as part of BE’s strategic communication;
- Produces and prepares audio, video and photo material for all online channels;
- Responsible for content planning, content creation, analysis and evaluation of BE social media channels and developed ideas for optimization;
- Contributes to the organization and effective promotion of relevant communication events;
- Designs and implements online advocacy campaigns promoting the BE;
- Designs printed and multimedia materials;
- Manages freelancers and agencies that support us in our activities
- Carries out other related tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in English and with excellent Arabic and Kurdish language skills;
- BA/ BS Degree, preferably in the field of media/marketing/digital communication/journalism or similar;
- Expert using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Demonstrates proficiency with one or more image editing programs (Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Canva or similar)
- Has experience with content management systems, social media tools, e.g. Hootsuite and the Facebook Business Manager, and other digital tools;
- Experience in designing newsletters, email templates.
- A minimum of one year experience in online and social media management as well as campaign work;
- Passionate about communication, social media, and new developments in the digital world, as well as interested in promoting peace, human rights and social justice;
