For the Sarta EPF & TLS operations the Tanker Administrator is assigned to coordinate and administer the crude loaded and transported by road tankers to the Khurmala South offloading station. This KRI based role will report to the Field Manager and is a site-based rotational position.
Key Accountabilities:
Operating within Genel Energy core values and HSE ethics.
The candidate duties and activities are centred around work preparations and administration of the daily crude volumes loaded into road tankers, compile daily reports and ensure transport manifests and associated documents for crude transport are being prepared in a timely matter.
An active engagement with the Field Manager, EPF Operator and Crude Trucking Contractor representative is required to achieve efficient and accurate reporting and administration of crude volumes loaded, specifications and trucks. The candidate shall also interface closely with the Engineering, Operations and Support teams of Genel to implement and improve the reporting system and truck associated logistics.
This role is for a green field project whereby reporting systems are being implemented and commissioned which thus requires a mindset prepared for organising, assisting with setting up systems, problem solving and flexibility. Computer and communication skills are essential to interface between systems and people on a daily basis.
The position is field operation’s site based on a 2-week rotation in a back-to-back role, with the possibility to develop into a permanent staff role in the future.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
The Tanker Administrator, a field-based role, acts on instructions provided by the Field Manager and works in close relation with the Erbil based Snr Production and Operations Engineer, Technical Support teams, EPF Operator, Trucking Contractor and local community. The role will be field-based on a 2 week on / 2 week off schedule.
The candidate has:

Extensive understanding and experience with Tanker Loading and Tanker weight bridge computer and reporting systems

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills in addition to competency with the standard Office IT applications and computing skills. Experience and knowledge of other administration programs is preferred.

University Engineering Degree level with 3+ years of professional experience Oil and Gas projects.

Excellent writing and speaking English and Kurdish communication skills.

Self-starting and flexible attitude to support and develop green field operations.

A detail focused approach to data acquisition and documentation.
The Candidate should have sensitivity to working with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds and is self-motivated, adaptable and be capable of taking the initiative when required.
Internal & External Interaction:

Internally the candidate will be expected to work supportively and actively collaborate with all disciplines and functions.

The candidate will liaise daily with the OPF, Trucking and Facility Operating Contractors, in addition to the Genel Security, Engineering and Operations departments.
