A bachelor's degree or other qualification in creative writing, journalism, marketing, or another relevant field.
Copywriting skills in Kurdish Soarani, Badini & Arabic.
3+ years' copywriting experience, either agency or client-side, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and integrated campaigns.
Must have interest, natural flair for writing and be able to deliver content that works on the online arena perfectly.
A strong passion for writing, creativity and advertising.
Ability to accept and take on board feedback.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering highly-creative, engaging and persuasive copy for a range of audiences.
Ability to explain complex business ideas clearly and precisely.
Ability to answer briefs accurately to tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects at once.
Job Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
Provide original, witty, and well-written copy for different mediums while maintaining a consistent brand image.
Work on a variety of copy for various marketing collaterals, digital media channels & press releases.
Create headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copy for advertising campaigns.
Creating scripts for video ads, demo videos, how to videos, radio jingles etc.
Work with the Creative lead, Graphic Designers and articulate design requirements clearly.
Play with words, must be able to describe similar content in different formats and present in different styles.
Proofreading and editing copy, ensuring that it adheres to our brand guidelines and is suitable for the product and target audience.
Working in a busy and regulated environment, often on several projects simultaneously.
Create and present storyboards of ideas.
Must be a logical thinker and the thought process must reflect in the writing.
Must self-review his/her content before sending for final publishing. Should be open to receive and implement suggestions for betterment of the final output.
