Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify beneficiaries who should be provided with case management services
- Develop appropriate case plans for beneficiaries with different needs
- Provide appropriate case management services to beneficiaries
- Assign the cases to the PSS officer accordingly
- Refer the cases that need legal intervention to the Lawyer of the project
- Provide referrals and follow-up for beneficiaries with external service-providers
- Share information with parents/caregivers, as appropriate, and support them to implement relevant parts of the case plan;
- Enter case management data into the Case Information Database;
- Conduct regular field visits to beneficiaries in camps, Informal Settlements and households in Duhok
- Support the development of referral pathways for beneficiaries requiring external services
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
- Respect and adhere to Warvin’s terms and conducts of treating beneficiaries.
Education / Personal Qualification:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology or another related field;
- 2 years relevant experience in field work on the issues related to post conflict case management
- At least 1 year specific social work or case management work experience with beneficiaries;
- Previous experience in a similar position with international or national organizations or government authorities;
- Ability to discuss sensitive issues with beneficiaries and parents/caregivers and provide guidance and support;
- Excellent language skills in Arabic & Kurdish, English
