The position holder is responsible for:
  • Coordination of activities related with the elaboration of room by room lists of: a) Medical Equipment; b) Medical Furniture; c) Non-Medical Furniture for selected health premises.
  • Support on Elaboration of technical specifications for all items included in 1 above.
  • Support in planning and elaboration of schedules. Inclusive of schedules for procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning and training.
  • Support on cost calculations and budget elaboration.
  • Production and Management of document including approvals by DoH.
  • Data entering and documentation related works.
  • Document management - filing.
  • Elaboration of schedules of activities.
  • Performs assigned tasks related with the elaboration of the room by room list of: a) Medical Equipment; b) Medical Furniture; c) Non-Medical Furniture.
  • Data collection /entry for elaboration of technical specifications.
  • Warranty follow up and management.
  • Elaboration    of    schedules    different.    Inclusive    of   schedules    for    installation, commissioning and training of medical devices and systems.
  • Cost technical calculations.
  • Management and proper filling of document including correspondence and technical documents. This is applicable to soft and hard copies.
  • Non official translation from Arab and /or Kurd to English, oral and written.
Other duties/additional tasks
  • Maintaining of an updated set of relevant standards and technical-legal guidance related to medical equipment planning in soft and hard copies.
  • Development, data entry and management of a data base of medical equipment and systems. Production of reports on performance, maintenance and warranty related matters.
C.Required qualifications
The ideal candidate has been acquired first work experiences with the willingness to learn new skills and to develop a profile as a creative solution finder and problem solver.
Required degree
  • Master degree on biomedical engineering or a related engineering specialty.
  • Understanding of international standards relevant to the position: ISO, HTM, BS, DIN, IEC etc.
Professional experience
  • At least 3 years working experience in the technical field, preferable in the health sector or related fields.
  • Experience in administrative procedures, e.g. procurement, maintenance and warranty management is a big asset.
Other knowledge, additional competencies
The position holder must be fully literate and with highly competent on:
  • Microsoft Office suit, within this set of programs Mastering Excel is a must.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of Germany is an assets
