Job Summary:

Welcome guests and make them feel comfortable.

Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests.

Take beverage and food orders.

Mix ingredients, for instance; soda, sugar, bitters or fruit juice

Collect cash for beverages or drinks served and record sales
-
Maintain record and control of bar stock and arrange supplies
-
Mix drinks, water and other components to get ready cocktails and other drinks
-
Clean glasses and additional utensils
-
Sanitize ice tanks, coolers, and other bar tools
-
Serve beverages and food
-
Place bottled merchandise and glasses to make a smart display
-
Clean bar area and wash glassware
-
Serve snacks to patrons seated at the bar
-
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
-
Check-in with guests to ensure that everything is going well.

Deliver guest’s bill and thank them for dining at the bar
-
Work with other servers and be a team player.
-
Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
-
Complete side duties as required from supervisor.
-
Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
-
May work overtime when needed and assist the workload of others.
