The Advertisement & Promotions Specialist is responsible for supporting the company’s brand identity through successful coordination of strategic marketing promotions, media, sponsorships and special events, as well as all other activities that support the marketing department.
Under the guidance of the Advertising & Promotions Manager, the Advertising & Promotions Specialist serves as a Company representative, overseeing special promotional projects, and event planning, promotion and execution related to those projects. The position offers the opportunity to learn and participate in all aspects of marketing, including agency and sponsorship contract negotiation and execution, event planning, public relations, social media and advertising.
The Promotions Specialist will be required to work with Toyota Iraq team members as well as partner organization representatives, agency representation, important community organizations and city representatives.
Work with Advertising & Promotions Manager to implement promotional strategies and programs that promotes the company’s brand identity
Consistently seek out innovative opportunities to promote the company’s brand and retail message through promotional programs
Review and implement company promotions, including sponsorships, motor shows, special events and media programs
Facilitate media contract fulfillment for promotions initiatives, including follow-up, tracking and record-keeping
Travel to training programs, events and meetings both within Iraq and aboard
Maintain consistent & accurate files on all correspondence & data, including project budgets
Maintain tracking & accountability for promotion/trade program
Assist with creative planning/new initiative planning
Support and assist marketing research or survey programs on behalf of the company, including internal efforts, one-off events and long-term tracking
Translate copyright material & press release from English to Arabic and reversed
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required
Good English lanuage skills in oral & written
Minimum 3 years experience in marketing
Strong knowledge about marketing & social media technology
Able to work as a team member and be a positive influence on others
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to execute all aspects of marketing projects
Basic knowledge about Adobe Photoshop & other digital technologies
