Responsibilities:

Maintain the accounting records of the company

Perform monthly and annual closing procedures, including closing of accruals, bank reconciliation, and depreciation

Prepare AR and AP aging reports and follow up on pending invoices

Prepare the draft financial statements and management reports

Communicate with contractors, clients and suppliers about accounting matters

Ensure proper documentation of entries recorded by the payroll staff
-
Validate accounting entries, bank letters, and payroll sheets
Qualifications:
-
BA in accounting or a related field
-
3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably including advanced payroll accounting.

Advanced accounting knowledge covering financial statements and standard accounting reports. IFRS
-
knowledge is a big plus. (will be tested)

Advanced in Excel
-
Fluency in English and Kurdish or Arabic.
