MSELECT is looking to hire a Plant Admin Officer for an industrial client in Al Muthanna province in Iraq. Candidates must have at least 3 years of related experience and fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Scope:

  • Support daily office procedures, act as the point of contact for all plant employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries
  • Protecting company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
  • Acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property
  • Preparing regular reports, contribute to making the company a better place to work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments and book meeting rooms as required
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Schedule in-house and external events induction for all new employees of the designations. Ensure that induction plan is signed off and filed in the personal file of all employees
  • Track the attendance of all staff day wise in provided excel format (or) in the HRIS as per organization requirement and communication
  • Track leave database, eligibility, availed and closing balances of leaves for the district in excel format (or) HRIS
  • Arrange daily transportation for staff and visitors Supervise plant housekeeping
  • Asset Management
  • Maintenance of plant buildings Managing Restaurant Facilities
  • Liaison with various Government / External Agencies, Organizations and Neighboring Societies
  • Administrative arrangements for various plant programmes, Annual Excursions and Field Visits
  • Managing Essential services like water, electricity, etc.
  • Work in Co-ordination with various external & internal departments


  • BSc in Business Administration, or relevant field


  • Minimum of 3 years in Administration


  • Excellent in English and Arabic languages
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures
  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation
  • Integrity and professionalism
