MSELECT is looking to hire a CSR Specialist for an international oil and gas operator in Duhok. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role is required. English and Kurdish fluency is a must.


  • Primary liaison between CSR Manager and local villages, civilians and authorities at Harir-Bejil
  • Responsible for dealing with day-to-day social concerns, requests and queries
  • Responsible for day-to-day issues, communication and concerns with local authorities
  • Help to Build and maintain internal and external relationships with in the area of work
  • Support field manager with all the issues require CSR involvement
  • Support CSR Manager to develop community investment projects (CSR Projects) to mitigate impacts associated with company activities and Coordinate the roll-out of all these projects
  • Plans and prepare the frequent update of the CSR strategy within the organization
  • Improve the awareness of CSR projects across the organization
  • Follow the execution of CSR allocated budget and handle financial reporting
  • Assisting the company in developing, managing and altering social responsibility policies
  • Reaching out to the public to deliver the message of the company’s commitment to social responsibility in the best manner through establishing a comprehensive relation with community
  • Support CSR Manager to identify the CSR issues
  • Support in establishing relation with community to enhance the CSR activities
  • Supporting CSR Manager to Identify proactive and corrective CSR initiatives
  • Supporting CSR Manager to Maintain CSR strategy in the company
  • Helps in projecting image of the company in the eyes of the relevant stakeholders, local authority and community
  • Manages all company CSR information, data and acts as resource for team and company leaders
  • Any other related duties as assigned by line manager
  • Must have experience and awareness of local authorities at Harir-Bejil

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • High professional education degree is required
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze large amount of data and information objectively, and make quick decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
  • English and Kurdish fluency is a must
  • Advanced user of MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook, Visio
