MSELECT is looking to hire a Vendor Evaluation Officer for an oilfield service company to be based in Dubai. Candidate must have 3+ years related experience and native English language skills

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)
Conduct evaluation, scoring and reporting of oilfield service company Approved Vendor List (“AVL”) applications to ensure adherence to the Client’s standards and requirements. Applications are for subscription on AVLs under the following categories:

  • Construction;
  • Consulting & Professional Advisory Services;
  • Corrosion & Precipitation Protection;
  • Downstream Facility Maintenance & Renovation;
  • Drilling Equipment & Services;
  • Electrical Supply & Services;
  • Exploration Services;
  • Finance & Accounting Services;
  • Gas Facilities;
  • General Office & Housing;
  • General Site Maintenance;
  • Health, Safety, Environment Protection;
  • Information & Communication Technology;
  • Inspection, Testing, QA/QC;
  • Life Support & Maintenance;
  • Miscellaneous Rental Equipment;
  • Oil & Gas Pipelines;
  • Oil Trading;
  • Procurement, Logistics & Warehousing;
  • Production Facilities;
  • Reservoir Fluid & Core Analysis;
  • Security & Personnel Transportation;
  • Storage Tanks;
  • Transportation of Oil & Liquid Products;
  • Utilities;
  • Vehicles;
  • Water Systems;
  • Well Completion & Workover;
  • Well Testing;
  • Workforce Supply & Development Services
Applications include questions related to the vendors’:
  • Previous experience;
  • Personnel;
  • Products;
  • Equipment;
  • Quality management system;
  • Health, Safety & Environment manual and procedures;
  • Certification such as ISO, ASME, API and others;
  • Partnerships/JV agreements.
2) Communicate with applicant companies via email regarding their applications and assist them with any queries/issues they may have.

3) Tracking, record keeping and data analysis of all conducted evaluations and reports.

4) Assist with various tasks as assigned by a direct supervisor.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 3+ years related experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry as a contracts/procurement engineer or similar;
  • Experience in contract administration, drafting of contractual letters;
  • Native English language skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to self-organize and work independently;
  • Competent with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively with staff across all levels of the organization and client organization.
